Removing a contact or connection from LinkedIn.
Sometimes you get LinkedIn invitations to connect from people you have not done business with.
Sure, the whole point of Social Networking is to:
a) be social
Meeting new people, finding out more about what they do and what makes them tick is the main reason why I like being part of social media platforms like LinkedIn .
What I find irritating are the type of peeps that ‘connect’ with you for no reason other than to work your network or extend theirs even further.
Recently I had a so called guru, reach out to connect. After accepting his invitation and writing an email to say hi, introduce myself and network with him, never to be heard of again.
Once I realised he had no interest in being social or networking, I decided to stop the indulgance. What I mean, is it was time to remove him from my network.
Removing a Contact from LinkedIn
It wasn’t that obvious at first, hat I didn’t need to network with him, finding how to remove the said person was a little of a chore, so once I found out, I thought it would be helpful to others in the a similar situation.
